Wonderful game. I really liked the way the story was always more complicated than one may think (you were still far from the conclusion when you reached that scene, even though you may think at first that you were almost there), but without getting too overwhelmingly complex (as it was in the sequel).

And I loved the music in that scene, too (that theme resurfaced much later in the game, but I liked this arrangement much more). (As an aside, I first played the game with AdLib music, and I was really blown away when I first heard the score on an MT32, years later; it just felt so much richer.)

It's not the case every day, but today the Adventure Game Scene of the Day [TM] made my day. Thank you, Wreck!

Hmm, what game is this? The scene (and language ) reminds me of the huntclub in GK2.

Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes. (case of the Serradated Scalpel (spelling?), I think)

EDIT: And yeah, pretty good game, although I think it got a bit old, because my recent playing through it disappointed me a bit when compared to the reputation it's got.

This game was definately one of my favorites. The music, dreary colors that really captured London, the graphics, and the investigative aspect of the map as you opened up new areas. Heck I still love playing darts in the pub, and talking to the flower girl.

If I ever want to escape back to when I was 15 years old, this is a good game to get lost in cuz it held a lot of great memories.

Oh yeah, I've wanted to play this game since the day I read a review about in a finnish gaming magazine in the early 90's.

It was so fun. I like many others were confused thinking it had voice acting but I was very entertained. At least the into had voices.
