HINT: If there's no Google box, then you don't need to go on another site: everything should be on the page (or in the page...).

I meant I found screen8b.jpg but it was just a dead end. I've found the correct image now.

If you google the url in combination with some text that appears very clearly on something in the picture that works as well (didn't notice the faint text at all in solving this one)

Absolutely stuck on 6 though

Lookie - this same game has been Ankhified...

Apparently the solutions to the levels are the same (at least, I played through the first few and they seem to be) but the screenshots are all from the upcoming adventure game Ankh.

EDIT: Okay, it's not all the same. I'm stuck on level 5.

Level 5 in this is somewhat analogical to one of the latter levels in the original notpron

I'm afraid I lost patience (to the original, Ankh-one felt too much as a rehash, so I abandoned it) having gotten to 14th, BTW. I'm sure I know what they are hinting at, but none of sensible combinations I could think of turns out to be the username and password.

EDIT: Also, I fear that references to earlier levels might start to appear more often later on, which would make playing the game a navigating hell.

You may be typing it wrong.

For level fourteen, you need a French phrase. It's very common, but it has some accented letters that the name/pass are very picky about. Look at the hints: "He knew the feeling" and "Been there". Also, if you know the phrase but not the accented characters, just google it as you know it and you'll find them. This is what I did.

Eh, there will be, but as far as I know, they only reference earlier URLs and username/passwords. Just make a list of each URL and the name and pass to get there and you should be okay.

I convinced myself that I am required to translate the username and password to #5 to French, because of the crossed out "5". Of course, along with those hints you mention - and I had ignored - I understand what was the "5" supposed to mean. Thanks!

I checked the source code and learnt of the ascii code, I noticed the word "anagram" in the box where you write the login, but I'm clueless about the words I should decode!!

Thank you so much! I was stuck on that level forever.

See the problem I had was that if you highlight from top to bottom (including the visible words), you can't see the characters down below.
