Have you ever dreamed about a game?

This night I dreamed a not so pleasant dream about KGB: Conspiracy. First I played it and then I think I somehow was in the game. Many of my dreams are like that.

I have actually, I remember only one dream, when I was like 10 or something like that, I had a nightmare about Ghost'n Goblins 1st level end boss.

I had fever of 39 degrees that night and I had seen Ghost'n Goblins at a friends place on that very same evening for the first time so that might be the reason.

Yes. Sentient. The opening of the game takes place in a landing bay that is losing pressure after a crash, with an irritating timed puzzle to escape.

I dreamt it the night after playing through it for the first time.

Yep. I play first-person games, and the mark of a good one is that it starts insinuating itself into my dreams. This happened to me more while I was playing "Morpheus" than with any other game, particularly the boxer's and exotic dancer's worlds.

I was so hyped about Broken Sword 3 that I dreamt about it even before it came out.

When I was playing the text adventure Mountain of Ket, I dreamt the solution - I found a hidden door into a store room, and on some wooden shelves I found the rest of the wizard's costume required to get past a barrier.

Okay, so it wasn't the correct solution, but what the hey!

I've had a lot of dreams where I've been inside an adventure game, finding a key and exploring rooms, but they've usually not been based on any real adventure games.

Plenty. I can only remember dremaing about The Sims 2, and GTA Vice City.

More than a few times. I've found that I've even been able to come up with a few puzzle solutions that had me stumped. The phrase "sleep on it!" can be a good thing.

I call it the Super-Mario-Burn-In(such as when images are burned into monitors/tv's, but on your retina's).

First time I ever had a dream about a game was SMB(I've been playing games since the 2600, but SMB is the first time I remember dreaming about playing a game), and afterwards of course, any game that I play addictively for any great period of time, usually days on end. Its ultimately frustrating, as its highly repetitive(repeating corridor fights or endless jumping), and I get very little rest from it.

True story: while first playing Prince of Persia SoT I once had a nightmare about the game where, when it got too scary, I managed to rewind time in my dream up to a point before it become a nightmare. (rewinding time for up to 10 seconds is a special power you can use in the game) Since then I've somehow kept that ability to rewind my dreams and I haven't had any real nightmares since.
