Someone Stole My Broken Sword 4!!!

UGH! I ordered from GoGamer.com and I've been waiting and waiting and then tracked the package and it said DELIVERED Oct 5th. I never got it.

My delivery guy said it was delivered on the 5th!

SOMEONE STOLE MY BROKEN SWORD 4!!!! UGH!!!

I already reported it... we'll see. I doubt they'll refund it or anything since the post office says it was actually delivered. I think once it's out of their hands it's not their responsibility.

Didn't the guy who recieved the package have to sign for it? they have to do that here - if it is sent as a package. If it's sent as normal mail, the receiver won't have to sign, but then again there will no way to see when the packaged arrived either. You could ask them to check the signatur, and compare it with yours. If it doesn't match your signatur, or if the guy who delivered it didn't ask for a signature, the post office are the ones who screwed up and will have to pay to cover your loses.

Anyway, how was it possible for anybody to steal it? Was the address wrong? who signed for it? why didn't they make sure he was who he claimed to be?

Stealing is a big word, but you definately got robbed.

Never mind. Sometimes I don't follow myself. I hope that whoever has your game will return it to you via the post office or something.

I don't think a signature is required on the gogamers.com deliveries.

My loft entry requires a key or keycode. You cannot enter without one. The only way the package disappeared is if someone took it. And that would mean one of 13 people who live in this building. The postal guy could also have taken it but I doubt it. He's a really nice guy who always delivers stuff to me personally. With this package, since I wasn't home, he popped it in the entryway where other packages sometimes get placed.

If you order anything to deliver by regular post-office, nobody will ask you to sign anything..delivery man will just leave you package at the door and than you have to be really lucky

Have you contacted GoGamer? If I mail something that has some value, I have the option of getting insurance in case something happens to it. I'm wondering if GoGamer would have done something similar so if they replace your copy, they aren't out much.

You can also start spying on your neighbors and see if any of them start having conversations about Nico and George.

Then you'll know who it is.

Sad to hear what happened to you, but in most cases even the company replaces the package, so you might be lucky.

I bought some music, but I never got it, so I turned to the company mentioning I never got a package (one month had passed). They sent me a new one, which I got, then... 1 month later I got the original package!

Blaim it on the post.

Ahh. .you guys all make me feel so much better about it. It's not the money.. it was only like 29 bucks. It's the whole idea that someone took it.

I guess I'll wait a few and if it shows up in the store I'll buy it there.

It always sucks having a neighbor who is a thief. When I was in college, someone stole my flatmate's bike during the chaos when everyone was moving out. We never figured out what slime did it...

But the stuff weren't any expensive anyways, but I still think that goes under what's called service.

regardless of how you lost the game.

I don't know how it works in the US, but here in Denmark, Europe (where I live), the postman (or woman) may not place a package inside the door
- if the person who was getting it (the package) is not at home when he or she comes to deliever the package.

In this case the postman in Denmark then would have placed a note in your
mailbox saying that there was (is) a package waiting for you at the post office. And then you goto your local post office to pick the package, in this case, the Broken Sword 4 game, up so you might enjoy playing the game.

However, if www.gogamer.com did not use postal USA T US official mail service?) to mail or send Broken Sword 4 to the OP, but i.e. used UPS or
another delivery service then I don't know what the OP is to do.

Also, in most buildings in the US, there seems to be a doorman (I've watched
a lot af movies from the US obviously). Maybe the postman delivered the Broken Sword game to the doorman ? (if there is one ? )

Lastly, just a clarification: Is is so in the US that the mail office only recieves the package, and then a private delivery firm (like UPS) delivers the packages to the recievers, the persons who're going to get the packages ?

It was a joke, see? I've not heard many good things about the game, and I wasn't exactly overenthusiastic about the demo. Quality inspectors must have confiscated it to save you from the dissapointment.
