Default Broken Sword 4 Patch 1.1 Released!

There has been a patch released for Broken Sword: The Angel of Death, I'm not sure on the actual list of changes but it does fix some bugs which players have found. I'm not sure if you already know about the patch so I thought I'd inform you all, AG should have it up soon I imagine. for now, you can download it here.

Let me know what you think of the patch, if you manage to check it out. I'm going to see what changes it's made soon, if you notice any let us know.

Awesome. Now both the problem with the lagging mouse and the sound problems seems to be gone. At least it seems that way after test running different problem parts of the game for a little while They have fixed the steam bath bug... so the steam no longer turns your mouse into a snail.

Now Sumo and I are good friends again.

Good news! Thanks for the information Jamie and the hands on reaction marsan. I'm glad to see something done about bugs. Hopefully, this will mean a more stable build when the game finally hits US shores and I finally get my hands on it.

I can't help but find it ironic that Europe, once again, gets the shaft when it comes to gaming. They thought that they were lucky to be the first to get this game but as it turns out, they just got to be the lucky unwitting beta testers. Kinda' sad.

Hi,

After installing the patch 1.1 I didn't had any video, only sound... I needed to reinstall the game before I was able to play again.

I have a Asus A9550 and XP SP2... I would say beware of this patch and save your "save games"

Hope this might help someone.

But we in Europe are almost the first to enjoy new adventures too... I have already "Operation Wintersun" on my computer even before it is available in English (wheee... just teasing)

Kind regards,

ShAdOwHuNtEr

No that's what I missed the most... at least it's good most of the bugs are fixed now. But just that it took almost two months to make a patch really shows this game was prematured released with about half a year, because it would at least take 3-4 months to implement the features I feel are missing or not well enough made. Sure seems like this game either ran behind schedule, and was released too soon or that they were just too optimistic when defining their schedule.

Hehe, yes. Also, we have earned it The sales of adventure games are in general higher in Europe, so then we should get the games first ;-)

Oh, that sucks. I hope not many others get these kind of problems with the patch.
