Default Adventure Game Scene of the Day - Fri 12th January 2007

One of the most gripping moments in the histroy of gaming. Played the game for the first time more than 10 years ago but it still gives me the chills.

It's almost as chilling as reading the novel. I have no idea how many times I've played this game. It's still as good as when it was brand new.

That's the first one, yes (1993). And then came The Beast Within (1996), and in '99 came Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned.

The moment with Gabe and his grandpa (and some ritual) was even stronger.

I'm playing The Beast Within right now and have just bought the first G.K game on e-Bay. I'll recieve it any day. On my shelf I've also got G.K3. But I couldn't get it to work on my XP and haven't found any patch to help me out.

You mean wolfgang, his great uncle.

The section with Gabriel and Wolfgang are indeed very powerful.

Most of the GK websites hasn't been getting updated and unfortunately, this site isn't an exception but it still has ton of goodies (especially in the Resources section). Be careful though if you are visiting that site it contains a ton of spoilers.

Strangely I don't remember this scene. Great game though.

I guess we won't see Malia again anytime soon.. Pity, she's such an.... interesting... character.. I don't even remembr how many times i've wondered why detective Mosely couldn't juse "use the force". He could have made a
decent detective.

I loved the comic book style cutscenes. I would always look forward to the next one (unlike in more recent games where they're just animated using the game's engine). As much as I loved this game though, I've still never played the second or third. For some reason they have never really interested me, despite all the positive reviews that I've read.
