Default Adventure Game Scene of the Day - Tue 27th February 2007

I've recently played this game for the first time, and must say I quite enjoyed it. The puzzles were nice (and not insanely difficult; for some reason, I was expecting to have to take a lot of notes, but, actually, it wasn't the case), and the plot rather interesting, with solid characters (if somewhat predictable; still I didn't really see the twist at the end coming). Of course, there are some speed problems on modern computers, but it's bearable. So that was a nice experience.

I agree. It's an extremely nifty game. Very atmospheric and a fabulous story.

I found it surprisingly logical and fair. It's not insultingly easy, but nothing to start banging your head against a wall over.

Beside Phantasmagoria, the Gabriel Knight games and the Tex Murphy games, this one is one of the best adventures ever made! To all of you who haven't played this one yet: Do so. It is a truly great and atmospheric adventure. Simply fantastic.

Best Myst-like adventure game, in my opinion, even good for people who aren't that much into Myst, because the story and characters are very important here.

If it weren't for the annoying (and, more importantly, not "new computers"-friendly) node by node movements, I would have replayed it a dozen times already. As it is, it's just an incredible memory I have of a game that had been sitting in my shelves for a year before I got to actually play it, and which baffled me completely.

EDIT: And I agree with those who said the puzzles were fair and logical, albeit not exactly easy.
