More RSS feeds

I am an avid reader of newsfeeds, in fact, my newsreader gets updated (and read) every hour. Adventuregamers.com provides one RSS feed for Recent News. That's great, but I'd like to see additional feeds for Recent Articles and, of course, Latest Screenshots, as I rarely visit the frontpage and miss out the latest features and previews.

Please?

There are th quick links at the top of the page for Recent News, Article and Underground. Also, aren't a lot of the screenshots tied in with news and articles anyway?

I just can't help thinking that creating and maintaining RSS feeds for all the sections would be adding to the already heavy workload of a team of volunteers.

Maintaining? The RSS feed isn't maintained. RSS articles are automatically created when new news items are created. The same would be possible for newly published articles. All it would take is a bit of work on Doug's part to implement the articles-RSS-creating code and everything else would be automatic.

I've come across "All it would take is......" sentences before.

If you click on the orange icon thingie with the white arc lines that's to the right of the web address, it'll ask you if you want to subscribe to the feed in Opera. If you click yes, it'll update the news as it's added. In Opera, there's a pull down menu called Feeds that will have the AG news.

In Firefox, when you click on that icon, it'll add a bookmark to your toolbar that when you click on it, the menu with the news items will drop down.

I don't know what you would do in Internet Explorer*.

Internet Explorer 7 beta 3 has support for RSS, but I hate it. HATE HATE HATE it.

No, they don't. It's a new thing for IE7. I haven't tried the RSS support myself, and my hate is purely for IE7 itself (just read my post again and thought that you might have thought that I hated the RSS feature). It tries to copy Firefox in may ways, such as tabbed browsing etc. I hate the new beta for all sorts of reasons. By default the address bar is stuck at the top of the window and you can't move it around like you can in IE6, the file menu is hidden, it has its own search bar that you can't move/disable (although you can make it use google to search), and it renders some websites badly - mainly due to the fixes people put in place to make IE6 render websites properly. It just does all sorts of things I don't like. </IE7VENTMODE>

Arguably, one could say that Firefox copied tabbed browsing off of Opera...
