Familiar Ground Threads

Most of them don't work :'( Are they gone for good or is it possible to resurrect them?

Uhm... you're right... Strange, though, since at least a couple of them had their last entry no more than a month ago...

Unfortunately, I have no clue: hopefully, some technical guru will pop in to answer our doubts

Thanks for picking that up. The forums address changed when we had a server upgrade a while ago so the links just needed updating for that.

All but two appear to work properly now. A couple of the threads still aren't coming up. (Marked as such) I'll see if I can find suitable replacements for them.

The AGSD list is there. It seems like I accidentally deleted the original one (that Jake's post was linking to) at some point.

Also, if I remember correctly, the right way to link to threads and posts is to use the [thread=###]...[/thread] and [post=####]...[/post] tags, rather than a direct link to thread / post, as those generate the URLs on the fly and therefore don't break if the address of the forums move. So using them is probably the right practice for threads which are meant to last.

I can't believe the only thing that gets me out of lurking these days is the urge to lecture people some more... Sometimes I hate myself.
