Log In Process

Had a strange thing happen today.

I was able to log into AG, post a reply to a message. And, 40 minutes later, was not recognized, and had to request a new password. What gives?

Hey that happened to me also! I usually always stay logged in, so it wasn't the session that had ended because of incativity on my side, and I am also very sure I hadn't deleted any cookies recently...
Have only experienced it once though, so maybe the forum just then changed their type of cookie? Very wild guess

You would have needed to log in at least once due to a recent forum upgrade a couple of days ago, but the need for a new password does sound a little odd.

The need for a new password sounds strange to me as well. But I'm now able to log on with the supplied password so no harm done...I hope.

I just joined today. I logged off and came back later. Home page rejects my login but it's accepted from the main forum page. Even though I'm now logged in, the box at the bottom of Steve Ince's piece says I'm not logged in and thus prevented from commenting. I'm new at this so, am I doing something wrong?
