Default Dev. Chats ?

Ok, here's the thing.

You used to hold dev. chats in the past. Most of the dev chats were hugely successful and gave us great insight into the development process, upcoming games, features, etc.

Why did you have to stop holding dev chats ?

Thanks in advance.

It occurs to me that dev chats require you to have devs willing to chat. Therefore it may well not be a case of this site stopping holding them.

I think it's safer to say they were "hugely enjoyable" by forumites who took part. In terms of actual "success", dev chats are an awful lot of work for quite a few people for a relatively small number of people on the forums to benefit from. Even the least-read articles on the main site get far more traffic than a dev chat ever did, so in terms of exposure, it just makes more sense to do conventional interviews.

We may yet do some more in future, but there's nothing planned.

Well, OK.

Let it be interviews, then. I've always liked reading interviews with devs involved in an adventure game project.

Thanks for answering my question Jackal
