Default Welcome to the new server... again!

Well, here we are on another server. One we can probably actually afford, and to which I have the root password. Muahahahaha!

We have a little more bandwidth available to us here, so that we don't have to worry nearly as much about overrunning our monthly limit. Hooray!

This is strange. I can access the forums using Internet Explorer, but when I try with AOL it just takes me to that page about adding some IP address thingie to my hosts document thingie. What's up with that?

It means that AOL is doing some local DNS caching and is still taking you to the old server. If you know of a way to clear your caches, give it a shot.

Is there any chance it will just sort itself out eventually? I'd rather avoid "tampering with wierdness."

Yes, it will sort itself out in a day or two (depending on when your internet provider updates its DNS info).

It's all back to normal now fortunately. I always get worried when the subject of changing servers gets mentioned.

Waitaminute. Let's evaluate: adventuregamers.com did something technical, and the forums weren't down for at least three-quarters of a year? And nobody suspects that we've all been sucked in the twilight zone or something? How VERY un-adventuregameresque, causing us regulars so little discomfort

The difference this time is that they're not hosted on Mixnmojo's server

Hmm, now that you've mentioned it, Fluxsie, your voice does sound noticeably less sexy.
