It's probably because I finished Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within and The Two Thrones right before Psychonauts, so I was already prepared for some serious platforming . And compared to Warrior Within (now THAT's a difficult game!), Psychonauts seemed rather simplistic in its platform sections (not that I mind though). I don't think there was a part in the Meat Circus that took me more than 5 tries.

Really? Must be pure luck then. There is one jump just before the first boss at the Meat Circus that I still haven't managed to make although I still managed to get through it (after I fell, the game let me start up on the platform for some odd reason).

A quick question: I heard there's a point of no return in this game, is there any warning before this happens so that you can go around collecting the rest of the stuff before finishing?

It adds a special save, I believe, at the point of no return.

Yes, it's before the Meat Circus. Although it is possible to go back to the other levels even after that.
