I think I get it.
You have an extra item and you're missing the instructions. You've done the dance so I guess the instructions disappeared. As for the pom pom on a string, at a guess, you probably got that from the pink paladin. Darned if I remember. Now what you do with it... ![]() Wait...now I recall. You got that from something that belongs to the pink paladin. If you need a walkthrough (I seriously suggest you don't use it), MaG has a good one at Gameboomers. Can also I please, please, request a save after the Rain Dance..No matter how much I try,
I just cannot do it...just too slow....I have already got..shield and helmet... However,I do not mind doing those quests again. They are a doddle compared to the Rain Dance. |

geo123, have you checked the walkthrough at Gameboomers? You may have just missed something.

For those like me who couldn't use the save game that Gil provided, I think this is the answer. If you are running Win7, the game can't run under 64bit so you find it in the x86 directory. The game writes the saves to the regular save game dir but also to another dir, something like users/user/appdata/local/virtualstore/??????, and it will only access that dir. So you can change the regular saves but the game won't see it. I found the same thing with Diablo 2.
So to use the save game you would have to find the 'virtual' saves and copy the files there - if you can, I never bothered. Oh, and the virtual files maybe hidden so you would have to unhide them first. ![]() The good news is that there may be a patch coming out so you can skip the rain dance. ![]() Regards John |

geo,
Did it work? Post your version of Windows here if it did or didn't and whether it's 32 or 64 bit, would you? For some reason, some people can't get the save to work without jumping through hoops...if at all. Knowing that might help. Oh, and did you let it install to the default location? |
