The first Kings Quest game I played - and somehow managed to complete.

Getting eaten by sharks was somewhat annoying.

I never managed to get into KQ4, though it certainly had some good ideas. Swimming was really annoying, though.

Great game. The first one to use a day / night cycle (at least, the first I played that did). I remember figuring out how many minutes in real life equaled how many minutes in the game (there was a clock in the game so I was able to figure this out with math... math!) and then leaving it running for like three hours just so I could see day turn into night.

Seeing as how we have a "scene of the day" thread every day, how about placing the date in the thread title, so we know which one is most current?

That's weird because this one and KQ7 were the only KQ games I didn't complete.

An EXTRA band-aid? You mean there were already some band-aids in the sandwich to begin with?

And I thought being so geeky about a game was a male thing.

That would just be cruel. We all know that German women don't know how to make pie.

Well, it is possible. My father once found a band aid in the box of his Creméhats. He filed a complaint for it only last Saturday.

*drops one of her Dwarven Drop scones on mag's head*

Trust me. They really *are* worthy of the term 'dwarven'. I left out the silicious contents, though. (they weren't necessary)

Oh dear, he's unconscious...

P.s.: Want to try my marble cake? It is constantly praised by the Baker's daughter because the dough is so smooth and soft.
