There are some other games by the same team which are similar in style to Samarost (though a bit shorter in length);

Wow, that polyphonic spree was great. I loved the music. I wish games would put more emphasis on music like this. I've always wanted to make a musical adventure, with the characters singing their lines rather than speaking.
Now, I'm off to track down that polyphonic spree album =D |

You may want to give some of the Fax label mixes at http://2350.org/faxmix/ a listen, if you like the Polyphonic Spree they may appeal to you.
I used to collect their releases. Many many lovely pieces of ambience to be found. Unfortunately the realaudio page with sample tracks seems to be down, though apparently many of the older albums are now on iTunes. Which is nice, as they were all very limited releases. When I found one, it was usually a case of buy it now, or never. |

Real Player is a blight on humanity, I'll agree. If you haven't installed it yet, you may want to try the compatible yet considerably less bloated Real Alternative. It's worked well for me so far.
