Just played that one... It was really nice in some aspects, and not-that-great in others. Still, the experimentalism was refreshing, too bad the concept wasn't used (and refined) in any later games that I've seen...

It's Robin Hood: Conquests of the Longbow. Great game, though I consider the part in the pictured monastery one of the lesser moments in the game.

I probably confused the issue by not putting the name of the game in the post. We have the Scene of the Day to highlight a specific game whereas the thread Ledz pointed to is the guessing game.

I have Conquests of the Longbow and started playing it with the playthrough and didn't stick with it. I need to play it because I hear it praised on here.

Would people be less confused about the nature of these threads if you put a link to the answer in the first post? Or does it even matter? (Any misunderstanding that causes people to post screenshots from I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream can't be all bad.)

Ha, me too! Though I never could get any of my friends to play it with me.

I got very busy near the end of the Conquests playthrough, and didn't get around to posting my thoughts on the end of the game. Very cool to have Christy Marx drop by! I hope she got a kick out of the attention.

While one of my favorite Sierra game it suffers heavily from the same problems as most other Sierra games. There is no indication when your pointer hover over a hotspot. This gives the term "pixel hunting" a new meaning.
