I have had no success trying to run Vikings on my XP machine. I'm planning to play it on an old Win98 machine that I recently acquired.

Yes Index's Vikings whenever i tried on different platfrms always asking insert cd after installation!?

I keep meaning to play Vikings, but never get around to it. I would guess it would work on Virtual PC. If people can get Amber to work on XP using Virtual PC, why not Vikings?

Is that the adventure that's slightly educational? I think I have it, and I didn't have to do anything special to play it on XP...

I played it in the C-mode for Win 98. (XP ruined the sound on my puter when playing the game) I love those edutainment games, they're fun.
