Welcome to the forums, Mary Anne.
![]() Aura and Keepsake might be your style of games, with some rather clever, not inventory-based, puzzles. Aura's plot didn't make much sense to me (and Keepsake's sucks), but if you've been through Myst V, you must have got used to that. ![]() Safecracker is extremely good too, though the focus is only on logic puzzles there.

and make up your own mind whether the graphics are good enough. The puzzles are mostly mechanical puzzles and are medium to difficult. I had problems with getting lost in the first RHEM game, so a good sense of direction helps (or a good map). Whether the puzzles are "too hard" or not depends on whether you have an affinity for the types of puzzles they use. The DVD version of the first Schizm game had good graphics (the CD version was blurry). IMO the first Schizm game was even more difficult than the RHEM games. Schizm was renamed Mysterious Journey by the US publisher. If you're from the US, be aware that the publisher of Sentinel has republished the game as Realms of Illusion. You'll find it for sale in the US under both names. No need to buy it twice. |
