http://forums.adventuregamers.com/fa...m#faq_acronyms Anyway, I still think the list should be more extensive (and updated) and featured on the main site. |

That's an old forum FAQ ripe for deletion. Our current FAQ is here.

Okay, maybe "only helpful" was a little too strong of a phrase.
![]() But my concern was that the list would have to be continuously updated and there's always going to be a game or an acronym that we forgot. |

Who wants to scroll through a giant list to find other answers? A link or at the end would work. SEE how easy it is to get a story wrong? ![]() |

Acronyms are always based on the first letters of the words in the game title, and usually can be figured out pretty easily from the context of the post. If someone can't figure out what an acronym means, I'd personally rather that person ask than to have AG try to maintain a comprehensive list of acronyms. Reviews are completely different, IMO, but hey, if people would rather AG staff spent their time trying to maintain long lists of acronyms rather than reviewing games, who am I to argue? ![]() -emily |

For the record, I believe a comprehensive list of acronyms is a much needed feature, being in the FAQ, main site, or wherever.
And if you don't want to have to bother thinking about it (and waste time), why not start a thread where people would post game and their acronyms whenever they think of them? I'm getting tired of typing Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis instead of FoA. ![]()
